The errors are usually "Folder not found' or "Failed to Connect". This is both using the mapped folders native to OSX and using QNAP's QFinder application and attempting to reconnect using both SAMBA and AFP. Key issues 1) Shared folders fail to reconnect when mapped after rebooting computer using Thunderbolt connection. QNAP TVS871T connected to a 5k iMac via Thunderbolt and also via 10Gbe ethernet (using a SANlink2 and Netgear 10gb Switch). I want to post my own findings to see if anyone else has some or all of these issues (note all this has been provided to QNAP support) The configuration is as follows. In fact the customer support seems intent on shutting down the discussion on the topics by closing tickets and resisting any serious attempt to diagnose the issues.
